We had planned to head down to Southern California for Christmas this year, but I was physically not up to travelling. It was a hard decision to make, but the right one. It was a quiet Christmas, but no one seemed to mind. We had a lovely quiet day! But let’s back up and talk about the whole Christmas season…

I love how our home look with Christmas decorations up!
We had a gingerbread house decorating contest and had people vote on them on Facebook. Tom’s house won. 🙂
This is the first year we all did our own large house and it was great! I also accidently bought houses that were pre assembled! Best accidental purchase EVER!!
We had an amazing prime rib dinner on Christmas Eve and then enjoyed Prime Rib hash for a relaxing Christmas Day dinner!

Waiting for everyone to wake up…
Grandma bought all the stocking stuffers this year and the stockings at her house are much bigger than ours here! Good thing she wrapped everything since it didn’t all fit. -)
None of the girls had many ideas for gifts this year, so I got to pick things out I thought they would like. They all said they really like that because they were surprised. AND nothing was returned! Hooray!
More present opening. (Sage requested no pictures be posted of her from Christmas morning.)
I didn’t get a picture of us all in our matching PJ’s, but here’s the print of the girls and mine and Tom’s were black and white large plaid print.
