We were given 3 tickets at the last minute for a performance of The Nutcracker at McCaw Hall on December 27th.  Tom wanted Sage, Molly and I to go so he stayed home with Ashley and ate crab (Ashley’s request), watched movies and played.  The only problem was that Sage and Molly were starting their swimming lessons at 4 pm that same day.  We decided to rush as fast as we could and do both, even if it meant we were late.  Swimming lessons went great and they LOVED being in the pool again.  (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for this!!)

Sage was so excited. She’s been asking to take swim lessons for months!

As soon as they were over we got dressed really fast, jumped in the car and hit NO traffic.  I think that was the fastest I have ever gotten to Seattle, and no, I wasn’t speeding.  Crazy!  We sat down in our seats at 5:25.  🙂  We made it and even had time for a quick picture before it started!

Time to relax and enjoy the performance!

Along with the tickets came a special appetizer/cupcake event during intermission.  What a fun treat!

Can you tell she was enjoying it?

After the performance we looked around the lobby a bit and walked around the Seattle Center to look at the Christmas lights.

The Columbia jacket with reflector (which only is visible in pictures – grrrr) is a great addition to the beautiful brown dress. 🙁

Took the jacket off for this one. 🙂
