Snowmageddon….it was CRAZY!! It was predicted to be crazy, so I did what all responsible people in Maple Valley did….

I went to Fred Meyer! It only took me 30 minutes to get through the checkout line! At first I thought I might be overacting, but the next week showed that I did the right thing.
We took lots of pictures.
And more pictures….
Had a lot of time to play with friends since school was cancelled for A LONG TIME!!!
I enjoyed many cups of coffee. Tom had to try and work from home as our street was a sheet of ice for many days! When he did get out, he actually got a hotel up in Seattle for a night, so he could work and not have to attempt to commute back and forth.

I felt a bit trapped at the beginning, as we really could only walk anywhere. We didn’t need to go anywhere and we didn’t need anything, but just knowing we couldn’t leave the house with our car made me a little anxious!
Building a snow fort
There were HUGE icicles hanging outside our bedroom window!
Crazy!
We had some beautiful sunrises and sunsets!
Then the snow turned to ice and made things worse! More school was cancelled! Even the kids were tired of the snow and ice and ready to go back to school! It was beautiful though!
