Sunday evening, the girls and I headed up to Lake Washington to join Eric and Julie Lund and the Myers family on the Lund's sail boat.  Julie had dinner for us on the boat when we got there and then we headed out to join the Argosy Christmas Ship.  It was a fun night...

Decorating for Christmas

Decorating for Christmas

While I caved in a few weeks ago and we decorated early, this morning after breakfast we went and got our Christmas tree.  We've made several attempts in the past to go into the woods and cut down a tree but found that it's so much easier and enjoyable  just  to drive...

Thanksgiving 2013

Thanksgiving 2013

We have so much to be Thankful for!  I am reminded so often of God's grace and how undeserving I am of his gift of salvation.  Whey He chose me, I will never understand, but I am so grateful! As the girls and I enjoyed our time yesterday with family and friends, with...

Enjoying the Pacific Science Center

Enjoying the Pacific Science Center

Last year for Christmas, our family received a year pass to the Pacific Science Center from the Greenfield Family.  We enjoyed many visits up to Seattle to spend time here!  Our passes expired on the 20th, so we headed up there after school for 1 1/2 hours for one...

Ashley the Ballerina

For her 4th birthday, Grandma, Grandpa, Autumn, Austin and Alyssa gave her money to take a dance class.  She "learned" ballet, tap and jazz.  She had so much fun, although the class was definitely geared toward the older kids in the class.  She is already asking for...

Where have the 9 years gone?

Where have the 9 years gone?

9 years ago, we were just meeting our beautiful little girl and Tom was trying to figure out how to put on this HUGE 0-3 month outfit on our newborn.
This morning, a 9 year old walked out of her bedroom and Tom was sitting on the floor with her looking at her new tablet. 9 years doesn’t seem like that long, but it has gone by in the blink of an eye!

Halloween 2013

Halloween is always such a fun evening for our family!  This year, our church had a Harvest Festival and the girls chose to go to that and spend time with their friends and then trick-or-treat at a couple houses on our block on the way home.  They had so much fun at...

Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Molly had her very first field trip and they went to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday. Ashley, Andrew and I tagged along. (I have an friend who has a child in Sage’s class and also in Molly’s class so we swap kids so we can each have time to volunteer in the classrooms. Her youngest hung out with Ashley and I for the day so she could go on the bus with the class.)
