During mid-winter break, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and found some last minute great deals for a 3 day trip up to northern Washington. Ever since we moved here, Tom has wanted to go into the Olympic National Park. Since the girls did so well on our drive to Mt. Rainier, we decided to finally do it!
Port Gamble
Olympic Game Farm Park

The llamas at the beginning kind of ruined the feeding the animals part of this trip. They were so aggressive! These deer were sweet and couldn’t get their heads too far in the car! They were easy to feed!

This is my favorite picture from this part of the trip. By this point, we were just driving with all the windows up. There was a lot of animal slobber on the outside of the car, but better there than on us!
Lake Crescent

The lodge was closed for the season, but this is definitely a place we want to come to and stay at! It was so beautiful!

We got off the trail for a bit . . . it was a bit of an adventure walking through the woods to get back to the bridge so we could cross the river!
La Push

LA Push was a great play to play with the DSLR and figure it out! I’m so happy with a lot of the pictures I took. I finally just turned it to auto and the pictures turned out great!

We grabbed a take and bake pizza in Forks as we were driving in to La Push. What a beautiful view to enjoy while eating!
Hurricane Ridge
Shipwreck Cove
It was a great trip . . . one we will always remember!! I can’t wait to go back to La Push and Lake Crescent!!
