It wasn’t raining on Saturday and it was beautiful out.  For the past couple months, everyone has been so tired by the time the weekend comes around so we’ve just stayed home.  Last weekend, we all wanted to get out.  We had originally thought about going to a corn maze, but Mr. Ranier sounded more fun.  We went out to breakfast, came home and packed some snacks and headed out.

The fall color were beautiful, and we were able to drive around the mountain on the Chinook Pass, which has always been closed when we’ve gone before.  Thanks to missing a turn-off we were able to enjoy the snow for a bit!

And somehow, Tom is not in any of the pictures.  🙁

Taking turns on the bridge over the river as we walked to the Grove of Patriarchs. It was pretty shaky!

The visitor center at Paradise – not sure why we always stop here. We usually only stay for a few minutes.
