After we got back from the cruise, we had just a short time before school started, so we packed the days full of fun things with friends and as a family. Below are some highlights . . .
Playing at Pipe Lake with friends
This is the same lake as the one in Cherokee Bay, just a different access point, thanks to a friend.

Rattlesnake Lake with Friends

Sage had wanted to swim out to this rock all summer and we finally made it to the lake. Unfortunately, the water level was really low, so we just walked out to it. It was still fun, but not quite what she was looking forward to.

Meet the Teacher Day

After meet the teacher, we went to Yumm-e Yogurt with friends Sage has had since Kindergarten – Shanthi and Makenna.
Wenatchee, Cashmere and Leavenworth
We headed over the mountains the Friday before school started in hopes of escaping the rain. It rained for a few hours on the other side of the mountain, but overall, the weather was nice.

We loved the decor inside the market and ended up going back for breakfast in the morning and to walk through the farmer’s market outside it.

Heading down to the pool – Molly is a blur. This is pretty much how she is all the time lately. She is never still unless she is sleeping!

We swam after dinner and then the next morning before we had to check out. And by we, I mean the girls. Tom looked at some magazines and I played Soduku. (The pool was only 3 1/2 feet deep.)

We spent about an hour in Leavenworth. It was too crowded to even walk down the street. We bought a bunch of taffy, walked around and left.
