Thanks Aunt Sharon

Aunt Sharon – this blog post is just for you. Here is Ashley in the beautiful blanket you made for her. I’m sure it will get used a lot as the weather starts to get colder. 🙂

Sprinkle for Ashley

Friday night when Mom was here, Amie and Aunt Patti threw a “Sprinkle” to celebrate Ashley’s arrival. It was fun to get together with friends and family to celebrate her. (It also made me very home sick for my friends in So. CA!!!!) Ashley slept and ate during her party . . . but since that’s all she does any time, I guess that’s ok. 🙂

Mom, Alyssa and Ashley

Quilt sqaures from Laura and Patti 🙂 Can’t wait to see the finished quilt in September!

Mom’s Visit

Mom and Alyssa flew up here last week to meet Ashley and spend some time with us. It was great to have them here and we enjoyed spending more time with them! Here are a few pictures . . .

Who is this new person? I don’t remember her from when we were here before.

Molly’s "First" Hair Cut

A few weeks ago we took Molly to get her first hair cut. (Technically Sage gave her her first hair cut, but I’m not counting that one!) She did a great job and looks so cute.

Tom’s Transfer

Today was Tom’s last day at the Bistro in Tacoma. Starting Thursday he will be in downtown Seattle at the Flagship Store as the Chef of the Marketplace Cafe. This is a great move for his career as he’ll be in contact with corporate people more often as the corporate office is right down the street. He’s also planning on taking the train and light rail to get to work, which means the girls and I will be able to use the car most days. Yea! 🙂

Update on Ashley

Yesterday, I took Ashley to the Dr. because we thought she had thrush. It turns out she does and the Dr. gave us some drops to put in her mouth 4 times a day. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to bother her and she is still eating and sleeping well. She had gained a few ounces from the last time we were at the Dr. and the Dr. said she looks great. So we’ll go back again at 2 months. 🙂

Other than some major depression on Sunday, I’m doing well. Thanks to family and friends, I’ve had a lot of help and company the last few days, which has made things easier.
