Mt. Rainier

On Saturday we headed out to Mt. Rainier . . . without the camera.  It ended up being a horrible experience and we were ready to trade the kids in (not really, but if you’re a parent, you can just visualize in your head what the day was like without me saying anything more.  Yes, it was that bad!)

On a positive note, Mt. Rainier is so beautiful.  There were waterfalls everywhere that were just gorgeous!  It was super crowded as it was the first “summer” Saturday we have had.  At one point, we were high enough up to throw a few snowballs, which was the highlight of the day for Sage and Molly.  Maybe next time (if there is one), we’ll take some pictures . . .

4th of July

For the 4th of July, we went over to a friend’s house for a BBQ.  We were introduced to a few new games that we loved and were able to do a few fireworks.  (As well as watch the millions going off at the houses around us.)  Then at about 10:10, we watched the fireworks over Lake Meridian.  It was so nice being at someones house so we could put Ashley down to sleep since it stays light here so late!

The girls LOVED the sparklers!!

Toy Story 3

I would not normally blog about going to a movie, but this was Molly’s first movie and she was so excited.  She loved Toy Story 3.  (The rest of us did too.)  We were able to leave Ashley with a friend from church so it was just the 4 of us.  🙂

Museum of Flight

So I’m a little behind on blogging . . . but we’re still here . . .

Last week we met Tom after work at the Museum of Flight.  We were only there for a few hours, which was plenty of time with the girls at the ages they are.  Here are a few pictures of our adventure.

Happy 4th of July (a little early)

Tom’s Mom sent up some matching outifts for the girls for 4th of July so we attempted to get a picture . . . here are a few good ones.  Molly – 2 1/2, Ashley 10 months, Sage – 5 1/2
My favorite!!

Ashley was so fascinated with Molly.  So in most of the pictures, she’s turned and looking at her.  🙂

10 Months Old

Where have the past 10 months gone?  Ashley is just the cutest little girl with her beautiful blue eyes and wavy hair!  She is moving all around, but not by crawling.  She rolls and scoots on her tummy.  🙂  She started clapping a few weeks ago and it’s adorable to watch!  She’s wearing 18 month clothes, and even a few 24 month ones (mostly shirts and dresses).  She is starting to copy sounds and loves to “sing” along with the girls (who of course are singing most of the day.)
