Tom has been off for the past 3 days so we were able to enjoy a lot of time together as a family. We camped in the back yard, headed up to the Lynnwood area to escape the heat and spent time at the lake. Ah, summer!!
Night 1 in the tent . . . we need more padding. We are getting old! Molly and Ashley are sleeping in there somewhere!

VBS ended tonight at church and it was a long week. I was so excited for another year and thought it would be easier with the kids being older, but didn’t expect some bad asthma trouble for Ashley, so it was tough.
She was on my lap or glued to my side for at least part of the first 4 nights. The last night, the asthma was gone and she did great and loved it! She was so exhausted from not sleeping well at night that she fell asleep in my lap during the message one night. Poor thing! We finally got the medicine for the nebulizer and started a preventative inhaler to help prevent future attacks from coming on! (more…)
Sage got done with school one day later than Molly. We ended the year and started off summer with an Ice Cream party at the Timmons house!
I can’t believe Molly finished Kindergarten today! This year went by so fast! Earlier this month we were able to enjoy her singing in the Kindergarten concert at school. (She is in the middle row on the far right)
Today, Tom, Ashley and I went to her classroom for the end of the year party. Her teacher had a nice slideshow with all her pictures form the entire year and Molly was able to show us all her work throughout the year. I loved seeing how much she has changed since September. As the school year comes to a close, there are always so many fun activities that keep us busy! The girls both completed their reading logs for the entire year, so our family was invited to go to Skate Night. It was SUPER crowded, but we all skated and had fun. I was reminded of how CRAZY TALL I am when I put on roller skates . . . especially as I walk past other moms not in roller skates. Oh my!!
We spent time the Wednesday before Father’s Day celebrating Tom since we knew he was going to be working all day Sunday. We started off with gifts on the back deck. (James Bond Blu-rays and homemade gifts from the girls.)
