Last week, we went on Ashley’s first field trip to Thomasson Family Farms. She was excited and was telling every she saw about her field trip that week!

September 3rd is not a good time to plan a party . . . labor day weekend, school starting . . . too crazy! So yesterday was the day! We reserved the clubhouse down at the lake, the weather was PERFECT and I loved every minute of it!!

With our apples we got from Flaming Geyser on Sunday, Ashley and I made applesauce on Thursday. Making apple sauce always reminds me of my mom and how I used to help her every year with it. This year the process was so much faster as we used Tom’s new pressure cooker that he got for his birthday! 🙂

Today and last Sunday have both been beautiful. So we packed a lunch and headed out to a few State Parks after church both days. Last week we went to Flaming Geyser and hiked around for a bit. We also enjoyed “picking” some apples from a couple apples trees there.
