Last Saturday, we finally all had a free day! Woohoo! Between performances, birthday parties and work, our weekends have been really busy for a while!
The weather wasn’t fantastic, but if we waited around for it to be sunny to go somewhere, we might never leave the house!
So off we went!
We had never explored Poulsbo, so we headed up that way. The rain held off for most of the day, so we were able to enjoy walking around without getting drenched!

Our first stop was the Historic Museum in Poulsbo. It was small, but we enjoyed looking around and learning about the area a bit.

Molly got a part in the school play this year. She practiced every Tuesday and Thursday after school for an hour. They performed 3 times for school assemblies and 1 time for parents last week. She did a great job memorizing her lines and had so much fun!

Both Molly and Ashley had their class concerts at school.
Ashley’s class sang 5 songs and Molly’s class played the bongo drums and danced. The girls did a great job!

Sage has been working hard the past few months with other middle school students to put on the musical, “Shrek.” She was in the white cast as Teen Fiona and also in both casts as part of the Duloc Chorus. She had rehearsals many days after school and there were 6 performances. Those two weekends were pretty tiring, but she did a great job and loved every minute of it! (more…)

Molly and Ashley were so excited to participate in the science fair at school this year!
Ashley’s project was seeing if your eyes could fool your tastebuds. She put food coloring in two jars of apple juice and then had people taste it and write down what flavor they thought it was. (more…)
