Crazy Hair Day

Friday was the first spirit day at school – Crazy Hair Day.  The girls always enjoy deciding what to do with their hair, and then of course going to school to see eveyone else’s hair as well.  There were some really creative do’s at the bus stop!

Salmon Hatchery Field Trip

Last week, I went with Ashley’s class to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery.  I had been there last year with Molly’s class, but this was a much different experience.  It was sunny and there were a TON of salmon to see!

Waiting for our tour to begin

Taking notes on what they observed

So many salmon!!

Tom’s 44th Birthday

It’s been a very fun summer!! (more…)

Whidbey Island for the Weekend

After the last day of school’s ice cream party and a little time playing with friends, we headed up to Seattle, picked up Tom from work, and headed to Whidbey Island for the weekend.  We ended up driving up to Deception Pass and going across that way as the wait for the ferry was really, really long!!

We stayed at a cottage I found on Air Bnb. The area and view were beautiful.
