Growing Up Day with Molly

It’s hard to believe that Molly is old enough for our special Growing Up Day!  I set up afternoon tea for us using some of our new tropical dishes.  I took time to plan what we were going to talk about, got her a frame with her picture in it and a print out of Philippians 1:9-11.  We talked about how God desires for us to be set apart from the world, how He desires to use us to accomplish His will, and how Dad and I are here to help her become the woman God desires her to be.  We also talked briefly about modesty and what the Bible says about that.  Then we moved into talking about how her body is going to change as she gets older.

Baseball

A family at church got a group together to learn baseball this spring!  Molly and Ashley both started off, but Ashley decided it wasn’t for her and Molly really enjoyed it!  What a blessing this was as it didn’t cost us anything and the girls could learn about the sport and see if they liked it!
