How can it be that summer is over already. We had a busy summer, but I think it’s the best summer we have had as a family for a long time! As usual, I have a hard time keeping up with the blog over the summer, so here’s our traditional end of the summer video! We love this tradition!
After Church on Father’s Day we headed over to Whidbey Island. It was a lot of driving for a day that many of us were tired, but I think it ended up being a good day over all. The only bummer is that we didn’t get a picture of Tom and Molly! She was far out exploring in the low tide when we took some pictures. We’ll have to get one soon!!
It’s hard to believe that the school year is over. We ended the school year with a fun pizza and ice cream party with all the kids on our block! Then the kids played all afternoon with friends!
We missed the Maple Valley Bike Challenge last year, so this year, as soon as I saw it advertised, I put it on the calendar! Ashley decided she didn’t want to do it this year, so it was just Molly! She had so much fun and got 1st place for girls her age. (more…)
After our family date to see Incredibles 2 on the 4th of July, we headed over to the Kelsey’s house. The girls enjoyed riding horses, playing 9 square, swimming and handing out with friends. The fireworks were wonderful and besides my horrible allergy attack from being outside all day, we had a great time!
Horseback riding time!
9 square – such a fun game
At one point, Sage was being goofy and hit my head right as I turned my head, knowking my contact out. Here’s a group of very sweet people looking for it on the ground. We found it about 10 minutes later on my arm!! Crazy! At least it’s a funny memory!
There were some really big fireworks and we were really close to them. The girls and their friend Cambria decided to watch from inside the back of the car. 🙂
We have been waiting for this movie to come out for a while and it didn’t disappoint us! We all loved it! Molly even said it was her favorite date yet! We are all looking forward to seeing it again!
