I had just finished up radiation on my sternum and back a few weeks before Thanksgiving and was still struggling to get out of bed much and eat. Because of that we had a very low key Thanksgiving. Tom still cooked (hooray!!!!) and we had Aunt Patti and Uncle Chuck and the Mayes family over.

(more…)I can’t believe Sage is 15! She celebrated with friends having pizza and a sleepover. We had planned to go to the Great Wolf Lodge with a few of her friends, but I was too sick, so that was postponed. 🙁 Sorry Sage. Thanks for having a good attitude about it.
(more…)Halloween looked a little different for Tom and I this year. We actually stayed home and passed out candy. Ashley went with neighbor friends and their families. Sage went to a friends a house and Molly and 2 friends went around our neighborhood. It was a quiet evening for us and the girls all had fun!
(more…)Sage was so excited for her first High School Homecoming! There was a lot of friend drama leading up to it and I don’t think dress shopping was as fun as she thought it would be. But in the end, it turned out fine and she had a great time.
