For Christmas this year, all of us kids coordinated ahead of time and surprised Mom and Dad with a family photo shoot for Christmas. Then they picked their favorite picture and we had it printed on a canvas for them. We also put a bunch of the pictures in a scrapbook for them. My friend Sarah and her family were there for the day and she did a great job taking the photos for us! So many of the pictures turned out great! Now that we span across 3 states, it’s not often we are all together! I’m so glad it worked out!!

I’m so excited! Our new floors look amazing!! The timing was totally crazy but I’m glad it’s done! We moved a bunch of stuff out to the garage and they moved furniture around as well for us. They didn’t end up finishing by the time we left for the airport on Friday, so we didn’t get to see the complete project until we got home from our trip!
We decided to stay somewhere else during the main days of the work, and I’m so glad we did. I didn’t know it would be that dusty! Because of all the dust, we had some people come in and clean for us while we were gone, so we could come home to a non-dusty house!
(more…)Molly’s 6th Grade Orchestra Concert
Molly has been learning to play the violin this year at school. She really likes it and has been practicing a lot! For the first concert, they were able to play a solo or in a small group. Molly did both and Tom was able to accompany her on her solo. She did great and she’s only been playing since September.

Molly has been enjoying 6th grade sports at the middle school this year. She’s done Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton this year. She has to be at school at 7 am on Tuesday and Thursdays, but doesn’t seem to mind. I’m glad she taking advantage of the chance to try all these different things so she can see what she really enjoys!
