Wii Fit

Our Wii has been getting a lot of use lately.  First, with Epic Mickey, one of Tom’s Christmas presents.  We all fell in love with the game and enjoyed watching him play it for a few weeks.  Now that he’s completed it (which Sage is very sad about), Wii Fit is back in.  Here’s a funny video of what we get to enjoy when it’s on.

Happy Birthday Molly!

It’s hard to believe that Molly turned 3 today.  Molly has been so excited about her birthday and the day was finally here!  We had planned to have her party today at Tom’s restaurant, but had to postpone it because he has the stomach flu.  Fortunately, Molly doesn’t really understand time, so we just had to tell her that her party with her friends was next week and she was fine.  Smile

After presents and breakfast, the girls played camping with her new sleeping bag and camping toys.  Then we had to try out all the craft gifts.  Smile  I took the girls to McDonalds for lunch (along with the rest of the people with small children near by – way too crowded!!!)  They had fun playing there after they ate, even with the million other kids there.

We came home, rested and then played some more.  Molly wanted to help make the ice cream and frost her cupcakes, so we did that while Sage and Tom played Epic Mickey on the Wii.  She chose Chicken strips and corn for her birthday dinner and then of course cupcakes with valentine candy on top.  They are now (9:09 p.m.) having a campout in the playroom and have settled down for the night.

Singing Happy Birthday

Let the blogging begin!

As the new year begins, so does my attempt to blog and scrapbook . . . both at the same time.  My goal is to blog about our life as a famliy this year, and then to print it in scrapbook form.

So to start off, we are in birthday mode as Molly’s 3rd birthday is on Saturday and we are planning her party at Tom’s restaurant.  We have some aprons and chef hats for them to decorate and then wear as they are chefs for lunch.  (The restaurant is closed for lunch on the weekends obviously.)  It should be fun and Molly is so excited.  🙂

Facebook

Well, I think I’ve decided to stop writing on this blog.  It seems to be at the bottom of the to-do list and I never get to it and feel frustrated that it’s so outdated.  I’ll be posting pictures on Facebook if you would like to keep up with us there.  (So Dad, you might just need to get an account to see pictures.)  🙂
