Late August, Tom’s Mom and the kids came up for a week.  So 9 of us in our house . . . and it was GREAT!!  We set up the huge tent in the garage and the kids had a camp out each night.  We did a few day trips, swam in the lake a few times, enjoyed the new brunch at Palisade, celebrated Ashley’s birthday (again) with a party down at the lake and even had a chance to go tubing behind a boat on Lake Meridian.  It was a busy week, but so much fun! August 10-on-10

Wednesday evening I’m heading out to a Photography Class with a friend (http://saraarrigoniphotography.com) and our challenge for today was to take 10 pictures, one each hour of the day.  So here’s is a day in the life of the girls and I for Saturday, August 10th 2013, National S’more Day.  (Tom was working all day and is sleeping now.  I’m choosing to leave the picture of him sleeping out of this for the good of our marriage.)

Ashley Turns 4!

4 today smallIt is hard to believe that our baby girls is 4!

 Jumping

She is such a bundle of energy and keeps us busy.  She loves to sing, dance, color and play with anything My Little Pony.  It’s a joy to listen to her tell us what she’s learned at church and hear her ask us questions as she is figuring out who Jesus is.
She does a great job of standing up for herself and doesn’t like to be bossed around!  We had a fun day celebrating her birthday and look forward to her birthday party when Grandma and the kids are up here later this month!

A new look . . .

Blogging . . . scrap-booking . . . things I love to do, but seldom make time for (as you can see from the last post on this blog.)

So, here’s the current plan.  All our previous family blogs have been moved over to this domain.  I’m going to attempt to update this on a regular basis, even if it’s just with normal every day things.  So if you see me go for a while without posting, send me a message and tell me to get going!
