10th day of the month, a picture each hour (approximately)
I am SO HAPPY with how the pictures turned out for today! Each month just keeps getting better. Our day was busy, but the sun was out and we enjoyed it!

Saying goodbye to Autumn at the airport
For Spring Break this week, my niece Autumn flew up and stayed with us for 5 days! We haven’t seen her since last summer and we had so much fun with her! The girls LOVED having a “big sister” for the week.
The week was full of rubber band bracelet making, Woodland Park Zoo, Molly Moon’s Ice Cream, makeup, Wii, cookie decorating, roasting peeps in the fire pit, Yum-e Yogurt, movie theater, swimming, eating way too much and just having fun! We were sad to see her go this morning. 🙁
Each of us have a favorite memory of the week we had with her. Mine was on Tuesday, when I was able to spend a couple hours, just her and I, cooking in the kitchen and talking. I loved it! 🙂 (more…)
Last night was Sage’s 3rd Grade African Concert at school. She has been talking about it for weeks! They tie-dyed shirts, made hats and created artwork especially for the show. They played drums, chanted and sang. I think it was my favorite school concert so far. She had a solo in one of the songs (see video below.) 🙂
10th day of the month . . . 10 pictures . . .GO!
After my disappointment last month with my pictures, I got some advice from a friend and my Dad. The pictures are better this month, but still not great. I’ll keep trying . . .
So here was our day today. It was just a normal school day, nothing too exciting.
Working on my Bible Study homework this morning
One of my favorite parts of mid-winter break, was taking family photos. My friend Becky graciously gave up some time on Thursday morning to take some pictures of us down by the lake. I’m getting ready to launch a new blog tomorrow and needed pictures of our family for that, so this was perfect timing. It rained a lot this week, but Thursday morning, was dry (and cold)!!
