After the girls’ cup stacking competition in Portland, we took a little time to celebrate the end of chemo.
I was very tired, and it wasn’t an easy day physically, but we enjoyed having tea together as a family at the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland.
During December, we had visited the hotel and looked around at all the beautiful Christmas decorations. The room where we had tea has a high ceiling and the upper floor looks like a library. I love it!
Tom had to go to Fort Collins, CO for work, so Sarah Burns, one of my sweet friends from college, came up to help out and visit for 4 days! It was so much fun to see her and catch up with her. It seems like I just saw her yesterday, even though it has been a few years!
Last month we celebrated Molly’s birthday. It’s hard to believe she’s 8! She has changed a lot over the past couple months and seems much more grown up to us. She is enjoying 2nd grade and is doing well in school. She loves to sing, dance, act and play the piano.
Presents very early in the morning because she had to be at school at 8 am for Sport Stacking.
