We started off Tom’s 45th birthday with a 2K run! Molly has been wanting to do a race with Tom, so we found this short one nearby! The rain held off for them and she did a great job. I am so proud of Tom…not because of the race, but because of how much weight he has lost, and how much muscle he has put on. He is in such great shape and was so thankful to be able to easily do this race with Molly! (more…)

Happy Birthday to me! Woohoo! Another year!
Tom was down in Portland all last week, so he came back for the day to celebrate my birthday and the girls’ last day of summer!
We started off the morning relaxing around the house and then went out on our 10th family date…back to school pedicures or manicures! And yes, even Tom joined in and enjoyed it! (more…)
How can it be that summer is over already. We had a busy summer, but I think it’s the best summer we have had as a family for a long time! As usual, I have a hard time keeping up with the blog over the summer, so here’s our traditional end of the summer video! We love this tradition!
After Church on Father’s Day we headed over to Whidbey Island. It was a lot of driving for a day that many of us were tired, but I think it ended up being a good day over all. The only bummer is that we didn’t get a picture of Tom and Molly! She was far out exploring in the low tide when we took some pictures. We’ll have to get one soon!!
