The choir (7th and 8th grade) at Sage’s school competed in Music in the Park this weekend. They started off at Thomas Jefferson High School where they performed and were judged. Then we went to Wild Waves to hang out for the rest of the day until the award ceremony at 5 pm.
Sage hung out with 2 of her friends and they went on a bunch of water slides and rides. I’m so thankful that she wants me to go on field trips!! This was so different than a elementary school field trip as the kids were allowed to go around in groups and then just met up with us at 5. I met up with Sage and her friends a few times, but for most of the day, I was able to relax in the shade and read a book. It was lovely.
The choir did a great job and earned a trophy for 2nd place in their division!
