Our big gift to the girls for Christmas (from us and my Dad) was two days at Disneyland and California Adventure. It was open from 8 am ’til midnight both days and we made the most out of the time!
One special treat we didn’t expect, was that Tom and I were able to go to Disneyland on Monday night for 4 hours by ourselves. It was so much fun!! It was a long day, since we were in San Diego also, but it was totally worth it!

Date night!!

Beautiful view of main street

The castle was SO BEAUTIFUL!!
Next was our time to go as a family – all 10 of us!! We got to the park as soon as it opened. It was crazy crowded, but we sent one person with all our passes to keep getting fast passes, so we still managed to get on quite a few rides, despite the fact you could hardly walk through the park because there were so many people!!

Splash Mountain

She was so excited to drive herself. But part way through had some trouble so a cast member jumped in to help her!

Alyssa is driving! Look out!

Such a fun ride!

Ashley drove Grandma around!

Taking a break in ToonTown

Fast passes were really the only way to ride a ride without waiting an eternity!

One of the four times we rode the Buzz Light Year ride, Tom got the high score for the day. Th ride paused a few times, and he happened to be in a great spot!

This will give you an idea of just how crowded it was that day…

These 3 girls, Tom and I, made it ’til midnight! Woohoo!

I love It’s a Small World at Christmas time!
We started off our second day at California Adventure. As Tom ran around the park getting us a few fast passes, we bought ponchos to try and stay dry and got in line for Toy Story Mania.

Our first ride of the day. We went on twice! It’s so much fun!!

At The Little Mermaid ride, we say Carol Viselli, who I used to work with at APU.

Using our fast passes to go on Radiator Springs Raceway.

Ashley driving Autum in the bumper cars in Bug’s Land.

Autumn’s gun didn’t work on the Toy Story ride, so she got a pass for our entire group to go on the ride again without waiting in line! Woohoo!!

We loved being in Cars Land!

We ran into Andrea Aron, who was working! It was so fun to see her and even caught a bit of her performing!!
I’m so thankful for these fun two days as a family! I walked over 25,000 steps each day
(Monday, Wednesday and Friday)! That’s crazy!
