The girls combined their money and bought a hamster. Her name is Daisy.
Setting up the cage
About 3 days after we got her, we tried to hold her out of the cage and she escaped into a tiny crack between the bathroom cupboard and the wall. We tried to catch her with some homemade traps and putting food out, but all she did was sneak out and take the food back in with her.
Finally, Tom bought a trap to catch her and it worked. April 1st, I walked into the bathroom and there she was, hanging out in the trap. We were so glad she finally came out! We let her get used to the cage for a few more days before we tried to take her out again! What an adventure!!
