It’s hard to believe that Molly turned 3 today. Molly has been so excited about her birthday and the day was finally here! We had planned to have her party today at Tom’s restaurant, but had to postpone it because he has the stomach flu. Fortunately, Molly doesn’t really understand time, so we just had to tell her that her party with her friends was next week and she was fine.
After presents and breakfast, the girls played camping with her new sleeping bag and camping toys. Then we had to try out all the craft gifts. I took the girls to McDonalds for lunch (along with the rest of the people with small children near by – way too crowded!!!) They had fun playing there after they ate, even with the million other kids there.
We came home, rested and then played some more. Molly wanted to help make the ice cream and frost her cupcakes, so we did that while Sage and Tom played Epic Mickey on the Wii. She chose Chicken strips and corn for her birthday dinner and then of course cupcakes with valentine candy on top. They are now (9:09 p.m.) having a campout in the playroom and have settled down for the night.
